Welcome to our prenatal BarrePREGNANT classes, our barre classes specially tailored to support and empower expecting mothers throughout their pregnancy journey. These classes combine the elegance of ballet, the strength of pilates, and the mindfulness of yoga to create a safe, effective, and enjoyable workout experience for pregnant women.

  • Strength and toning: our low-impact exercises focus on strengthening the core, pelvic floor, and stabilizing muscles that are essential during pregnancy and for postpartum recovery.

  • Flexibility and balance: gentle stretching and controlled movements improve flexibility and balance, helping to alleviate common pregnancy discomforts such as back pain and muscle tightness.

  • Posture and alignment: emphasis on proper posture and alignment helps to reduce strain on the spine and joints, promoting a healthy pregnancy posture.

  • Breathing and relaxation: incorporating yoga-inspired breathing techniques and relaxation exercises helps reduce stress and anxiety, fostering a sense of calm and well-being.

  • Endurance and stamina: build endurance and stamina in a supportive environment, preparing your body for the physical demands of labor and delivery.

  • Community and support: connect with other expecting mothers in a nurturing and inclusive community, sharing experiences and supporting each other throughout this transformative time.

What to expect:

  • Safe and modifiable exercises: our FEEL THE BARRE trainers will guide you through exercises that are safe and easy to modify to accommodate for all stages of pregnancy and fitness levels.

  • Focus on key areas: special attention is given to areas that need extra care during pregnancy, such as the lower back, hips, and legs.

  • Positive and encouraging atmosphere: enjoy a positive, encouraging, and judgment-free environment where you can focus on your well-being and that of your baby.

Class details:

  • Duration: 55 minutes

  • Frequency: Three times a week (Mondays 4 PM, Tuesdays 1 PM, & Thursdays 12 PM)

  • Barre classes available: BarrePREGNANT (all trimesters) please see schedule and for more details. 

  • What to bring: comfortable workout clothes, and a water bottle. Props such as resistance bands and small weights will be provided.

Our BarrePREGANT classes are open to all pregnant women, whether you are new to fitness or an experienced athlete. Our goal is to help you stay active, healthy, and confident during your pregnancy. Come celebrate this special time with a workout that nurtures both the body and mind.

Furthermore, if you are new to barre, we encourage you to join our BarrePREGNANT classes first before trying our other classes. If you want to join our other classes, we would recommend BarreONLY & BarreSIGNATURE with the modifications you have learnt at BarrePREGNANT. We also offer one-on-one prenatal barre classes. IMPORTANT: You are required to sign a liability waiver (at reception) before taking part in this class. This states clearly that you have received the ‘all clear’ from your doctor to take part in our classes and other fitness classes. Furthermore, it states that you are taking part at your own risk and you should only do what feels comfortable and within your comfort zone. If this is not provided at reception before your first class, you will not be allowed to attend.
