At FEEL THE BARRE, we offer a complete pre and postnatal pathway — designed to support you physically and mentally through pregnancy, birth preparation, postpartum recovery, and your return to strength training.
Our approach blends alignment-focused barre methodology with breath-led strength work and medical alignment — developed in partnership with women’s health specialists at Within — so you can move with confidence at every stage.
This is not simply a modified workout.

BarrePREGNANT
Strength, Stability & Birth Preparation
BarrePREGNANT has supported over 200 women through pregnancy at FEEL THE BARRE. The feedback has been consistently powerful — because this class is intentionally tailored to the changing pregnant body and preparation for birth.
Barre is one of the most effective prenatal training methods: low-impact, adaptable, alignment-focused, and deeply supportive of strength endurance.
Suitable for all trimesters. We always recommend seeking medical clearance before starting.

Our signature LIIT section
Labour Intensive Interval Training
Each class includes a carefully structured endurance segment designed to build controlled strength, breath awareness, and mental focus — qualities that directly support labour preparation.
These intervals are:

• Pelvic-floor conscious
This is not high-intensity fitness.

Development & expertise
BarrePREGNANT was originally developed in collaboration with a former professional ballet dancer and Pilates instructor who is now a qualified midwife. This ensured the program was rooted in both movement expertise and maternal understanding from the very beginning.

Barre with BABY
Postpartum strength & reconnection
Barre with BABY is our intimate postpartum class designed to support your safe return to movement — with your baby beside you.
Each mother has her own mat. Each baby has their own space.
This class focuses on:
• Deep core reconnection
• Pelvic floor integration
• Posture restoration
• Progressive strength rebuilding
• Calm, supportive environment
Limited capacity to ensure personal attention and a relaxed atmosphere.
BarrePOSTPARTUM
Focused recovery & strength progression
Postnatal Barre follows the same evidence-based recovery principles as Barre with BABY — without babies present.
Designed for mothers who:
• Have childcare
• Have completed early postpartum recovery
• Are transitioning back into regular FTB classes
• Want slightly more dynamic programming
This class allows greater capacity while maintaining postpartum-specific structure.
